Alison Wright has been an English actor for more than 20 years. She was nominated for the Emmy Awards in 2017 for her role as Martha Hanson, the star of the FX's period-set spy show The Americans. The actress also appeared in her role on the Ryan Murphy limited series Feud: Bette & Joan and Hollywood. Wright was born 12 July 1976 in Sunderland. Her adoptive parents took care of her in the city. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was a student of acting and dance in New York City's highly regarded Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The Barrow Group. In the auditions she took to be cast in roles, she worked as an waitress. She was scuba diving as a major love of hers, and suffered a cardiac event at sea which left her in the coma. Her death was peacefully a few days later, surrounded by the affection of her family who had flown in to visit her hospital bed. Wright was born in Sunderland local, born on the 12th day of July, 1976. In Sunderland, she was raised as a child by her adopted family. She began dancing and acting at a young age.
